I have graduated from the University of Central Lancashire, with a degree in Retail Management with Marketing. With this degree I hoped to pursue my career into a higher position within an industry that highlights my skills, knowledge and experience. I have a keen interest in developing and enhancing my skills and experiences further in order for me to reach my future prospects.

Senior Business Travel Consultant - BCD Travel

I progressed into this role having previously worked within the Travel industry. This jobs main responsibilities included researching destinations, determining client requirements for high profile clients which we catered for. Building relationships and understanding client needs alongside analysing data and implementing business projects was key to this role alongside having knowledge and experience of catering to all clients.
Business Travel Consultant - Carlson Wagonlit Travel

My day-to-day tasks include diagnosing the client's specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages and services, to Organize travel from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation for large accounts such as Coca-Cola, Ericsson, and World Duty Free to mention a few. I am able to select the most reliable, safe, industry compliant and luxurious options to accommodate our customers. Having a passion for travel really aids in understanding the job role and being able to excel.
Some of the key skills that I portray on a daily basis include being able to negotiate and networking with industry professionals, planning and prioritizing my day, customer service skills, time management, computer knowledge, assuring client satisfaction and comprehensive industry knowledge. Meeting targets and SLA's are also an essential aspect to this job role. Again, with this job excellent knowledge of traveling software (computer reservations systems, GDS systems and e-travel) are essential.
Travel Consultant - Thomas Cook Scheduled Business

I worked for Thomas Cook in October 2012. This job consisted of working both with travel agents and direct customers. My role was to speak to the client and compose all aspects of their holiday, including hotels, flights, transfers, rail and tours, overall a complete travel service and experience.
I have enhanced knowledge and have had intensive training on using Galileo and various other travel sources. I am well acquainted with Nett IT fares, Cat 35 fares, published, non-published, scheduled and chartered flights. My geographical knowledge has developed since working for Thomas Cook and I am capable of working with most parts of the World.
This has been enhanced through personal travel over the years. This role requires a high level of concentration, empathy and strong listening skills along with being an enthusiastic communicator and a great team player. I have an A-Level in Travel and Tourism which has really aided in being successful in this job role.
I am able to work towards goals and targets that have been set. This job involved hitting high sales targets; therefore it was imperative to have strong selling techniques which were demonstrated on a day to day basis.
Service/Systems analyst - CSC
(2008-01 - 2012-12)
CSC outsourced I.T for BAE Systems and works very closely with their clients and competitor's. This job required a great amount of attention to detail as the job given is usually business critical. Day to day activities involve customer care, work floor management, handling sensitive information and dealing with requests of a secret nature.
I have worked with a large range of software along with testing, finding solutions to software faults, quality assurance and supporting businesses. During my time at CSC, I have worked on various teams such as customer service, implementing knowledge, HR and most recently on the security admin team. Most of the roles that I undertook whilst in this job required being Security Cleared, therefore have full SC Clearance.
This job has strongly enhanced both my IT skills and customer service skills.
Sales Advisor - New Look
(2005-01 - 2008-12)
Day to day tasks at New Look involved serving customers, cash handling, stock taking, visual merchandising and other various retail tasks. This job required great communication and organisational skills as well as being able to work in a team. Other appropriate skills for this job included negotiation, patience and interpersonal skills.
During my time at New Look, I was given the opportunity to be head of several departments, including lingerie and footwear. Meeting personal goals and reaching store targets was also an essential skill.
