I have worked in hairdressing for 32 years; of those years, I have spent 20 of them teaching hairdressing to students. These students can be anyone from a SEND or NEETS background, to young offenders. I currently teach hair and beauty at Entry Levels 1, 2 and 3, which requires me to manage my own caseload.
I also manage my own caseload of ECHP students. I have completed a variety of courses that have given me knowledge of how to de-escalate situations, and I have also carried out additional training i.e trauma training, safeguarding training and PREVENT.
