I am a passionate and creative newly qualified play therapist, who is eager to embark on a new professional journey. I am enthusiastic about using play as a transformative tool for children and adolescents to enable them to explore their emotional and behavioural difficulties. I am adept at providing psychodynamic counselling, where I demonstrated an ability to navigate complex cases, using a delivery of personalised and effective interventions.
I completed 100 hours of one-to-one supervised client hours during my 3 years of training, in a school setting. I covered topics of bereavement, anxiety, anger management, school refusal, settling into a new school, somatic expression and issue surrounding attachment. I have also supported the school with identifying signs of neurodiversity and the need for CAMHS referral.
