Sandy Evans

I am a student who has completed my GCSEs, and I have just started my second year of A-Levels. With two workplace first aid qualifications, I have a strong mindset and work well with others. I have good communication skills, and I am excited to apply them to working effectively as part of a team.

Volunteer Coach at Sheffield Lifesaving Club (2025-09 – Present)

• I volunteer 1h a week to help train junior lifeguards.
• This has helped to provide invaluable teaching experience, especially with children.

Member at Sheffield Children’s Hospital Youth Forum (2021-08 – Present)

• I contribute to decision making and give input on hospital projects.
• This experience has helped me to develop teamwork, communication and leadership skills.

Community Volunteer at Nether Edge Festival (2024-09 – 2025-09)

• Both years, I helped to set up and run community events for families in my neighbourhood.
• This included organising and running children’s activities within the festival.
• I demonstrated excellent customer service skills, helping children to enjoy the event.
