Seasonal Store Colleague | Footwear Department - JD Sports - Westfield Stratford City

The most recent job position I was in. In the heart of the mall, I worked in front of the store on the footwear floor, where my supervisor assigned me to a section, whether if it was Men's, Women's, Kids or Junior's, and I would serve and approach customers, assisting them with finding the right size, locating stocks and sending their boxes of shoes to the till, all while driving sales towards certain products by being engaging, convincing customers by use of benefits and recommendations so I can reach the sale quotas.

• Customer Service Experience was gained by constantly engaging with customers by being friendly, patient and handling a lot of people during rush hours. I also assisted customers with inquiries such as guiding them to certain products, or to the kisok, or anything else.
• Shop Floor Experience was also gained. I demonstrated maintenance abilities to keep the racks and shelves presentable, and I have worked during busy periods where a lot of customers approach me simultaneously. I communicate frequently with my colleagues for assistance to keep the flow of my job smoother. I can work under pressure and multitask if needed.
• Inventory and Maintenance Experience was mandatory as in some shifts I would work till after closing hours to clean up, reorganise the shoes on display, report missing gaps on displays or any other errors like a missing sticker, and other tasks like relacing shoes.

Under the agency The Big Connection, I worked for clients such as Hoo Hing, a oriental supermarket as a warehouse operative and performed other tasks such as assisting customers with shopping and unloading the contents into their cars, emptying the trash, cleaning, and completing online orders by palletising and wrapping them.
