I have over 35 years of experience in the education sector, having held senior leadership roles across both the public and private sectors. I am currently the CEO of an independent training provider specialising in apprenticeships, where I lead on all aspects of quality assurance, compliance, financial oversight, curriculum development, and organisational strategy. I am directly responsible for our Ofsted readiness and improvement journey, including authoring the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), leading audits, and ensuring alignment with ESFA funding rules and DfE expectations.
Throughout my career, I have held key positions such as Director of Apprenticeships, Managing Director, Deputy CEO, and CEO across four independent training providers. In each of these roles, I have driven business growth while ensuring delivery quality and compliance remained at the forefront.
Previously, I served as Chief Officer at a leading Further Education College in the UK, where I helped expand its international presence into over 18 countries and generated millions of pounds in commercial revenue. I led cross-functional teams and developed major strategic partnerships that supported growth and innovation across curriculum and employer engagement. I played a pivotal role in attracting high-profile employers such as Tesco, UPS, and DHL into apprenticeship delivery, while successfully managing multi-million-pound government-funded contracts.
Internationally, I have worked closely with ministries of education, embassies, and the British Council to deliver large-scale skills and education programmes in India, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, and China. I was instrumental in achieving an Ofsted Outstanding grade for international provision and led on the restructuring of high-risk subcontracted arrangements to meet the highest standards of accountability and delivery.
My leadership has supported institutional mergers, acquisitions, and robust internal quality systems—resulting in a strong track record of successful audits, sustained performance, and learner outcomes. I remain passionate about building agile, high-performing teams and creating inclusive, future-ready training organisations that meet national skills priorities and employer needs.
I am a highly experienced and impact-driven education leader with over 35 years of progressive leadership in the UK and international skills and further education sectors. My career spans public and private training providers, FE colleges, and global education projects. I currently serve as Chief Executive Officer of Dynamo Healthcare Training, where I lead strategic growth, quality, compliance, finance, curriculum development, and workforce planning, with direct accountability for Ofsted readiness and audit assurance.
Over the course of my career, I have held senior roles including CEO, Deputy CEO, Chief Officer, Director of Education, Vice Principal, and Apprenticeship Director, successfully delivering transformation in quality, compliance, business development, and learner outcomes. I have led organisations through Ofsted inspections (including as Nominee), ESFA audits, and extensive curriculum reforms—achieving 'Good' and 'Outstanding' outcomes.
I have driven substantial growth in apprenticeship provision, managing multi-million-pound contracts with major employers such as DHL, Tesco, Jaguar Land Rover, and NHS trusts. My expertise includes designing new curriculum models, expanding subcontracted provision, and establishing Centres of Excellence and international campuses across 19+ countries. I have worked with stakeholders such as the DfE, British Council, and Combined Authorities to deliver high-impact education and workforce solutions in areas including health, construction, leadership, green skills, and digital.
With a strong focus on strategic planning, quality assurance, stakeholder management, and financial control, I bring deep experience in leading complex educational organisations through growth, transformation, and regulatory excellence.
