I am currently a stay-at-home mum looking after my three sons full time and managing the house. I also help to run a toddler group at St.Peters Church in Marlow every Tuesday. I help to set up the room with lots of different toys to play with, then welcome the children, parents and carers.
I chat with the parents over a hot drink and help/support them with their children if needed. Also getting down to the children's level to play with them or ready a story. After the session I help to tidy away the toys and ensure the kitchen is left clean.
I enjoy volunteering there and meeting different people. Previously I worked as a senior nursery nurse at the same company for 15 years, unfortunately I was made redundant after being on furlough during lockdown. I have 24 years experience in caring for young children and building relationships with their parents and families.
Whilst working as part of a team to provide the best care for our future generations. I enjoyed looking after young children and found it fascinating how they develop so differently and individually.
