Since having my daughter in 2019 I have been self employed and run a small business selling hand sewn goods. I have since had another child. I'm really proud of how far I've come with my business and plan to continue working on this venture.
Facilities Officer - UPP Ltd in partnership with Nottingham Trent - Byron Halls, Nottingham city centre

Working at student accommodation, Byron Halls based in Nottingham city centre. Byron Halls has a 550 student capacity when full and is the largest halls of residence UPP manage within Nottingham.
- Running the main reception desk and being the first point of contact for any student enquiries.
- Working on a set shift pattern including days, evenings and night shifts.
- Responding to fire alarm activations making sure students are safe, the fire systems are working and logging incident reports.
- Sorting post and completing admin tasks when required.
- Being a point of contact for any concerns such as bullying, drug use, mental health. Logging reports of incidents whilst keeping all information confidential.
- Carrying out patrols of building checking doors, windows, security gates.
- Completing water checks throughout building.

Working within a residential environment providing support to 9 service users. I have completed the following training - Manual Handling, Fire Safety, First Aid, Safeguarding, Medication Administration, Finance.

Previously working day time shifts within the customer service centre, I then moved to out of hours, working independently on night shifts in a team of two.

Working at the Nottingham Building Society covering maternity leave for a year I developed skills within the financial industry. I have attended different training courses within the company.
- Carry out customer transactions using the branch system in an accurate and timely manner

- Provide excellent customer service to customers in branch, via the phone and internet and pro-actively follow up all enquiries

- Working in a call centre environment taking inbound and outbound calls regarding arrears on customers personal and higher purchase loans.
- Being polite and sympathetic to customer's circumstances whilst advising them on their account situation, calculating and advising on their interest rates and the best possible ways for them to pay their debt back. Setting up payment plans.

Working at Crowne Plaza Hotel I covered various shift patterns. Morning breakfast, lunch and evening functions within the banquet for large functions and the restaurants within the hotel.
