I have been working in the NHS for over ten years. My speciality is Emergency nursing. I have worked within the A&E department in Croydon and am currently working in Rapid Response which has a two hour response time within a community setting.
As an A&E nurse, I provided immediate and high-quality care to patients in the Accident & Emergency department. My role involved quickly assessing and triaging patients, administering initial treatments, and stabilizing those in critical condition. I collaborated closely with a multidisciplinary team and communicated effectively with patients and their families to offer reassurance and support.
My responsibilities also included accurate documentation and continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest emergency care practices. Working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, I remained calm, adaptable, and compassionate to ensure the best outcomes for my patients.
As a rapid response nurse, I provide immediate, critical care to patients experiencing acute deterioration. My role involves quickly assessing patients, administering urgent interventions, and stabilizing their conditions to prevent further decline. I work closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective communication and coordination to deliver swift, life-saving treatments.
My responsibilities include accurate documentation, educating patients and families, and continuously enhancing my clinical skills. Operating in a high-pressure environment, I am adaptable, and focused to ensure the best possible outcomes for my patients.
I have a BSc in Adult Nursing. I have also passed my physical assessment course in 2018 and this year have completed my independent nurse prescribing.
