I’m a calm, reliable, and people-focused person who really values empathy, consistency, and professionalism in my work. I’m motivated by helping others feel safe, respected, and supported, especially in environments where people may feel overwhelmed or unheard. I bring patience, emotional resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility to what I do, and I’m comfortable adapting how I communicate to suit different people and situations.
Outside of work, I enjoy things that help me stay balanced and focused, including reading, language learning, scuba diving, and martial arts. These help me manage stress and stay grounded, which I bring into my working life as well. I’m open to opportunities across care, education, and support-focused roles where strong relationships, reflection, and making a positive difference really matter.
I have several years’ experience working across residential care, safeguarding, and training environments, supporting children, young people, and adults with a range of additional, emotional, and behavioural needs. My experience includes frontline residential support, managing challenging behaviour using de-escalation strategies, contributing to care planning, and supporting safeguarding and risk management processes within structured settings.
Alongside frontline practice, I work as a Level 3 Qualifications Assessor and PRICE Instructor, where I support the development of adults working in care roles and deliver training in communication, de-escalation, and safe, proportionate physical intervention. Across all roles, I work collaboratively with multidisciplinary professionals, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold high standards of professionalism, accountability, and reflective practice.
I hold a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Criminology and Psychology, which provided a strong academic foundation in psychological theory, social behaviour, and critical analysis relevant to work in care, education, and support settings. I also hold an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare, equipping me with practical knowledge of safeguarding, child development, behaviour support, and professional standards in care environments.
In addition, I hold the TQUK Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement, enabling me to assess and support adults working towards care qualifications. I am also a qualified PRICE Instructor, trained to deliver guidance on communication, de-escalation, and safe, proportionate physical intervention. This is complemented by Makaton Level 1 and Mental Health First Aid training, strengthening my ability to support inclusive communication, wellbeing, and safe practice.
