I am a compassionate, organised, kind, patient and qualified 39 year old male care worker seeking opportunities to work as a Healthcare Assistant. I am passionate about providing care and support to young people, adults and the elderly with both physical and mental health challenges. I possess the ability to carry out most aspects of care and support work including monitoring and recording vital signs and observations, as well as providing personal care.
I can work independently, as well as part of a team, also ensuring that each patient’s dignity and confidentiality is maintained all the time. I am able to deliver person-centered care.
I am also an award-winning artist with experience in graphic and web design. My passion for care was driven from caring for my father who had arthritis and he was also paralysed from the waist down resulting in him being bed-ridden. Later he sadly passed away after the long illness. It is my wish to later incorporate my artistic gift and skills into art therapy.
