I am a dedicated and passionate Fire Safety professional with a strong background in risk management, health & safety, and community engagement. Having served as an on-call firefighter with North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, I developed a deep understanding of operational firefighting before choosing to pursue my true passion in fire prevention and community protection. This transition led me to Snowdonia Fire & Security, where I have strengthened my technical knowledge and achieved a Level 3 qualification in Risk Assessment.
Originally from the local area and brought up within the Snowdonia landscape, I have a genuine connection to Llanberis and surrounding communities. I am familiar with local businesses, residents, and the unique challenges of the region. My approachable nature and strong communication skills enable me to build positive relationships quickly, making me effective at delivering safety advice and ensuring compliance in a friendly, supportive manner.
With over 10 years’ experience as a Practice Manager at Vets4Pets, I have honed my ability to manage high-pressure environments, lead teams, and maintain rigorous safety and compliance standards. Combined with my studies in Adult Nursing at Bangor University during the COVID-19 pandemic, I bring a calm, resilient, and people-focused approach to safety. I am excited about the opportunity to apply my skills and local knowledge to protect the power station site and its workforce in Llanberis.
