I have 6 Years of Finance experience including 4 years in a team leader role. I have excellent IT and communication skills, due my years of experience speaking to providers and customers. I have advanced Microsoft excel and word knowledge including wide range of complex formulas, creating macros and using mail merge.

Within my previous finance roles some of the duties included: paying indiviual and bulk payments, dealing with complex finance queries, inputting timesheet data to creat invoices, reconcillation, training new members of staff, carrying out supervisions, managing the team to ensure all deadlines are met.

I am well organisied to ensure myself and my team works efficiently. I can work in high pressure enviroments well, I am experience with SAP software. I am also very deticated to my job as I always look to how I help improve the process and procedures.

Senior Finance Officer

As a Senior Finance Officer, I ran a team comprised of 2 Finance officers and 3 Finance Assistants. I partly continued similar tasks as a finance officer and finance assistant. However, I also carried the follow new roles:

• Using understanding of relevant processes and system within specialist area to prepare reports and other materials using standard and non-standard formats and software
• Analysing and presenting information, drawing conclusions and identifying trends
• Processing large reoccurring payments
• Providing information and practical, routine advice to the team

Finance Officer

Hertfordshire County Council, Stevenage In this role I was continuing with the majority of the finance assistant duties I had previously, however I was also carrying out numerous finance officer roles such as:

• Supervising and manging finance assistants within my team
• Managing and reconciling the Imprest cash tin
• Making monthly bulk payments on time
• Dealing with complex queries
• Updating and creating procedures and spreadsheet templates
• Assisting management within Finance
• Ensuring that all payments are made before their deadlines
• Maintaining previous finance assistant roles, including making payments, setting up direct payment accounts, communicating with clients and providers, reconciling payments

Finance Assistant
