A highly knowledgeable and experienced multi skilled engineer having worked across the Food, Petrochemical, Nuclear, and Brewing Industries with excellent knowledge in the maintenance of boilers, cooling towers, effluent plant, air/ammonia compressors and the maintenance and repair and compliance of electrical, fire alarms systems and emergency lighting, also the calibration of analysers and instrumentation.

Responsible for legislative compliance across a FMCG site including Electrical, Legionella, LOLER, DSEAR, PSSR and Asbestos. Responsible for the compliance and auditing of the permit to work system. Involved in ensuring the reliable provision of site services including electrical, steam, compressed air and refrigeration
Updated and introduced and owned the new permit to work system (electronic) ensuring all site issuers were correctly trained and validated, with this issued, general, hot work, confined space and excavation permits
Developed effective PMs for all site service plant and equipment and ensured the CMMS (Holistech) was fully populated and the activities were initiated
Active member of the project team installing and commissioning the site Boiler service including ensuring the correct PMs and spares were in place
Identify all site assets and developed a criticality matrix to ensure the correct legislation and maintenance activities were carried out on time
Planning and completing the annual HV and boiler servicing and testing for the site
Ensured that all gas detection systems are fully calibrated and complaint to protect site personnel
Fully trained Legionella competent person ensuring systems are in place and completed to maintain site compliance
Utilise RCM techniques to review all critical site plant to build PM and identify parts requirements
