Main responsibilities include
- Overseeing and managing the facilities operations, ensuring all documentation is up to date and contracts are adhered to
- Ensuring Pre Planned (PPM) ongoing maintenance is booked in and completed on time
- Recording and keeping on top of building maintenance, adhering to Health and safety and ensuring RAMS are in place
- Health & Safety management, including carrying out risk assessments, reporting of accidents / incidents and understanding / following COSHH and site Site Safety Co-ordinator and have achieved highest in region two years in a row
- Keeping budgets on target, I have substantially reduced spending through assessing jobs in house where possible and resourcing contractors when required
- Overall management of the building, ensuring smooth running of operations
- Managing and organising staff, including rota's, 1-2-1's and reviewing KPI's
- Using my imitative and putting plans in place to keep the facilities running, if safe to do so, when problems arise
Customer Service Team Leader - Derby City Council - Moorways Sports Complex

Responsible for the safety and smooth running of the leisure centre and staff and ensuring all customers were looked after and enjoyed their time at the Facilities.
- Managing national athletic events for clubs all over the county, organising the rotas for Customer Service Assistants and lifeguards
- Responding / handling customers comments and complaints
- Managing health and safety, Risk Assessments, ensuring contractors are carrying out their works
- Reporting any problems as they arose using my imitative to produce on the spot plans to keep the facilities running
- Financial management, managing an allocated yearly budget - I increased teams sales target by 40% through creating fun games, charts and gifts for the winners during meetings, boosting team morale and motivation
- Although based at 1 site, I was asked to take on multiple sites due to my excellent work, for a few months I dedicated my time at one of the council run community buildings
- There were no policies and procedures in place, including no contacts for repair and maintenance of the site
- I began managing this site to transform it into a fully functioning facility for the community, saving the building from making a substantial loss by implementing changes, bringing in new staff and in the first full year the facilities made a profit of £40,000
- From this achievement I was nominated for employee of the year
