I am a dynamic and self-driven mechanical design engineer with 8 years of experience in designing and manufacturing complex mechanical parts and assemblies, specifically renewable energy systems. I am also able to lead mechanical functions and carry out the correct review of engineering drawings, proven leaderships, and project management. FEA & materials engineer at ITM Power PLC (2024-01 – Present)

• Perform detailed structural analyses for hydrogen generating electrolysers, using ANSYS FEA and SolidWorks, producing engineering documentation including technical reports, DVPs, DFMEA, and BOMs, in compliance with relevant standards such as ISO BS8888 and GD&T, and supported by hand calculations.
• Review and approve engineering reports and provide line management to junior engineers.

Design engineer at Tuffa UK Ltd (2021-12 – 2023-12)

• Design and select materials for mechanical parts and assemblies used in rotational/injection moulding, welded fabrication, and steelwork using Autodesk Inventor and ANSYS FEA.
• Produce 2D and 3D engineering drawings, creating BOMs and technical spreadsheets following BS EN and ASME standards, including EN 1090.

Mechanical engineer at National Iranian Oil Engineering & Construction Co. (NIOEC) (2018-08 – 2021-05)

• Create P&IDs and engineering schematics using AutoCAD, and design pipe systems and rotating equipment including rotors, shafts, bearings etc.
• Conduct fluid and thermal analyses of energy systems and CHP plants such as pumps, heat exchangers, boilers, turbines using ANSYS FLUENT to confirm performance against experimental data.
• Participate in HAZOP and LOPA meetings.
