In this role, I gained strong all-round retail experience across customer service, operations, and cash handling. I was responsible for managing Click & Collect orders, ensuring items were picked accurately, processed efficiently, and handed over to customers in a timely and friendly manner. I also carried out recovery tasks, maintaining shop floor standards through stock replenishment, tidying, and ensuring products were correctly merchandised.

I regularly operated a manual till, handling cash and card transactions accurately while delivering a positive customer experience. In addition, I supported customers at self-service checkouts, assisting with transactions, troubleshooting issues, and preventing loss while keeping queues moving smoothly. This role helped me develop excellent attention to detail, reliability, and confidence when working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Volunteering in a charity shop, (Mind) assisting with customer service, sales transactions, and maintaining a clean, organised retail space.
