While i worked in sales it was paramount that i provided any customer with the highest standard of customer service. To ensure that i was able to provide this it was important that i was able to problem solve effectivly. This was important that in some cases customers may not have been happy with the product provided.

It was also vital that i was able to communicate clearly with not only my team members but also customers to ensure that i was able to help them. When working in cardland i was able to develop many skills such as thinking more effectivly on my feet and providing a service.

I have had the pleasure of working within the Pear tree Barn team since April 2019. Within this time frame i have taken on many responsibilities as i have worked alongside all staff members to ensure that a high quality of care has been delivered in each room. i have also had the opportunity to work closely with staff members from all the rooms and therefore have been able to adapt well to each room's routines. I have also carried out many other simple tasks such as preparing snack for the children while promoting a high standard of hygiene.

While working in baby room i was also able to deliver intimate care for example changing nappies i also experienced this while working in toddler room. I have been able to learn from all the age groups i have worked with for example it is my responsibility to ensure that all children are given a safe and stimulating environment to develop and also provide a challenging environment.

• Maintained safety and cleanliness by sterilising toys and surfaces.
• Read and told stories to promote and support overall language development.
• Maintained daily records of children's individual activities, behaviours, meals and sleep times.
• Taught children to organise toys, wash hands before snack times.
• Communicated regularly with parents about daily activities and behaviours this takes place in the morning or at collection times Each child is given a sheet with information regarding their daily activities, what they have eaten and how the child's mood has been during the day. This information may vary depending on the room.
• Promoted good behaviour with positive reinforcement methods i would promote this in the playgroup room through the sweetie jar to encourage good behaviour.

• Although I had only worked in Harbourton for a short period of time I gained lots of experience in relation to working and dealing with special needs children. I learnt how to cope in difficult and challenging situations I also carried out many classroom assistant tasks such as getting homework ready for the children the next day.
