My name is Shannon I am 28 years old a single mother from Darlington. I have had many different job roles over the years such as, kitchen assistant, commis chef, barmaid, online distribution, stables attendant, care worker and my most recent career was a school receptionist. At the grand age of 28 I still don’t know what career it is I want in life.
I love travelling and spending time with my family. I love baking and cooking in my free time. I am a big gamer and a very technical person. I am able to fix and put together computer hardware and programme software.
But gaming is one big love I just can’t seem to shake even at my age. In the past I have excelled in most of my job roles, and although I was good at them I never seemed to be happy in the roles I undertook, some may see that as a “job jumper” but I see it as I am still discovering who I am I had my first child quite young so parenting was sprung on to me before I could decide what to do with my life, but now my children are getting older i am driven and motivated to find where it is I belong in the workplace, over the years I have gained valuable skills which enable me to many different job roles. I have made mistakes and learnt from them and if anything it has made me even more resilient and motivated.
I also have a beautiful English springer spaniel who is like my 3rd child. I love nothing more than walking on evenings with her and watching the sunset. My children are my everything I try my best as a single parent and everything I do is for them.
