I am a highly organised and motivated Facilities Manager responsible for managing planned and reactive maintenance across a mixture of 3,385 residential properties and 11,150 Sq m of commercial properties across one of the largest developments to exist in Europe. My main duties are to ensure that statutory compliance is maintained within our life safety and business critical systems. My current role is focused on the delivery of hard services and the management of local health and safety and ensuring all legal and statutory compliance duties are undertaken in accordance with the relevant legislation.

Current Duties include

• Delivery of fire safety management procedures in accordance with central business strategies for fire safety, health & safety, and business continuity.
• Assisting in the handover and asset verification process of new buildings on site.
• Ensure the local compilation, update and embedding of appropriate RAMS & SOPs to deliver the above
• Locally audit the delivery of operational RAMS and SOPs and carry out testing as deemed prudent
• Provide facilities-related advice and support to the estate management team.
• Assist with the liaison with enforcing authorities including LFB, HSE and local authorities
• Ensure local delivery and co-ordination of apartment fire safety inspections
• Ensure delivery of planned preventative maintenance and risk management activities outsourced to third parties, security and maintenance.
• Assist in the management of consultants, suppliers & contractors
• Assist in the compilation and review of fire safety communication and updates to residents and leaseholders
• Carry out investigations following any fire events, near misses or dangerous occurrences
• Ensure all team members are trained in accordance with the central training matrix and any additional requirement determined by local SOPs
• Coordinate with the health and safety manager during compliance audits
• Identification of key fire risks requiring further assessment or action
• Developing, implementing, and reviewing standard operating procedures and risk assessments
• Management of all local health and safety and fire safety compliance within all properties, ensuring compliance with our responsibilities as the landlord and responsible person.
• Overseeing a scheduled program of fire, water and health and safety assessments to all properties and instructing remedial works within defined timeframes.
• Providing periodic performance reviews of all third-party providers to the wider business.
• Ensuring that service providers are adhering to service level agreements and key performance indicators as outlined in the contract.
• Overseeing the delivery of planned preventative and reactive maintenance of all hard services and life safety systems across one of Europes' largest development.
• Ensuring works are delivered on time and in budget.
