I am a passionate dental hygiene therapist with a deep-rooted connection to the dental field that began at the age of 16 when I started as a dental nurse. My passion was evident early on, as I consistently went above and beyond my job description. I frequently assisted in completing dental notes, which improved clinician turnover time and provided post-operative advice to patients, whether they had undergone an extraction or a deep clean with the ultrasonic I always remained on top of providing patients the best care possible and making it as comfortable as a possible.
My early career as a dental nurse was marked by dedication and initiative, consistently exceeding my job duties. This foundation paved the way for my advanced training and current role as a dental hygiene therapist.
I have recently graduated from Queen Mary university of london where i was exposed to a variety of dental cases whether that was on the restorative clinic to the facial trauma clinic. Throughout my studies in London i saw a common theme in periodontal disease amongst most if not all my patients followed by the lack of knowledge. This motivated me to encourage correct oral hygiene routines and show patients the importance of daily interdental cleaning and brushing
