I fully understand the requirements of being a carer such as hygiene support, assistance with bathing and toilet functions including changing incontinence pads and stoma bags in a safe, dignified and respectful manner.
I have recently retired from a 38-year career in IT management at a major financial institution, and have a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Informatics.
My wife is a British Citizen and I am moving to the UK in November. I have been granted an Ancestral Visa, which allows me to live and work in the UK for a period of 5 years, after which I am eligible to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain.
I would be available to work over the Xmas and New Year period. I am totally flexible to assist in whichever area in the UK I am most needed.
I really enjoy cooking, and can prepare most home meals with ease.
I possess a SA driver’s license which I will be converting to a UK license immediately on my arrival.
I have cared for both my parents before their passing. My father had dementia as well as an abdominal embolism, while my mother had a kidney removed, eventually succumbing to sceptisemia.
