Shazeb Hussain

As a person I would say I’m very outgoing and always happy to be out of their comfort zone. I’m currently working as a fitting expert at Halfords, this involves me always being on my feet and speaking to customers while trying to sell the best products. I prefer a job where I’m on my feet all day instead of being sat down as i enjoy a more practical lifestyle.

I previously worked at a lab for a year before starting at Halfords but at the lab my job role consisted of testing foods which were sent out by various different companies to carry out chemical reactions on them and let the companies know when the expiry dates are. After the lab I decided to start working at halfords because there was not a lot of progression in my prior job. The Halfords store I work at is in Halifax and it was nominated as 1 of 2 stores in the entire country to be upgraded to a fusion store.

This meant me and my colleagues had to learn customer service the best we could and made sure customers were getting the best experience in store getting the best products they could.

For my GCSEs I passed every subject and I got a 5 in maths, 5-6 in science, 5 in English lit and 6 in English language.

I went college for one year after my GCSEs and have a foundation award in sciences.
