I consider myself to have a hardworking and 'can-do' attitude. I'm a keen learner and a strong communicator. As I am at the beginning of my working life, I am looking forward to exploring opportunities and working in a people-orientated role which can utilise my interpersonal skills and expand my skill set.

I'm currently in college to obtain hairdressing qualifications. So I am looking for a part time opportunity that will allow me to work around my studies, but which also offer opportunities for overtime in the holidays.

Hairdressing Work Experience - Samantha James

• Ensuring the salon was clean and orderly (deep cleaning as well as regular maintenance)
• Greeting customers over the phone as well as in person
• Preparing light snacks and beverages
• Using booking systems
• Helping stylists with day to day tasks such as washing hair
• Ensuring clients were comfortable and welcome
• Helping in anyway possible

Work Experience - Builder - Perry James Crook

(2023-04 - 2023-04)

I undertook two weeks' work experience for a builder, generally assisting and observing current building projects and accompanying quotations. This gave a useful insight into the workplace and the various skills required, such as social skills in interacting with customers, resourceful thinking and the importance of ensuring a safe working environment. It also gave me some experience in working in a team, which I enjoyed.
