Within my employment history, I have gained 15 years face to face and over the phone customer service and 10 years optical experience. During my time working in various roles, it has given me confidence to become the team member I am. I enjoy working in a team.

I currently work in an admin role with other members of staff, I also have some days where I have to work alone. I am able to use my initiative and prioritize my workload. I am a reliable member of staff, with excellent punctuality and sickness record.

I'm always happy to learn new things and take new courses that will enable me to do my role to a much higher standard. I am a hardworking, trustworthy, polite team player, with excellent telephone manner and works well under pressure.

• Customer Service – Helping and serving customers, both food and drink. Dealing with any customer concerns.
• Communication – Communicating with customers, the general public and colleagues.

• Personal Shopper - I collect customers shopping using a palm pilot to scan the items. This will make sure that the correct item is scanned, packed and in the correct tote.

• Customer service – When helping out in customer facing stores, customer service includes helping customers find the items they need. Helping navigate around the stores.

Being a member of staff at boots for the past 6 years my roles and duties changed the duties below are all the duties I have performed during my time at Boots Opticians.

• Customer service – Helping customers, assisting customers with the help in finding the perfect frame. Arriving customers into the practice. Showing patients to the correct areas. Making appointments.
• Dispensing, prescreen – help patients with the dispensing of glasses at all levels, single vision, varifocal and bifocal.
• Health checks including auto refractor, pressures, visual fields and photos.
• Communication – Communicating with both customers and staff. Working as a team member.
• Cash handling – Handling cash daily.
• Cleaning duties - maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Clinic management - Manage and coordinate the clinics on the day and the optometrist. Ensure all clinics are running on time and effectively.
• Making sure staff lunches are staggered and complete within allocated times.
• Management of the prescreen area, making sure prescreens are complete and satisfactory.
• Customer satisfaction – dealing with any complaints. Making sure patients are leaving practice happy.
• Telephone – answering all incoming calls and making calls to patients.
• Processing – processing NHS online, scanning and emailing to patients and other stores.
• Clinic preparation - prep and complete clinical records ready for the next day's clinic.
• Ordering – Ordering uniform and stationery.
• Filing – Putting all files from the day's clinic into the correct drawers.
