I am driven by curiosity, continuous learning and a passion for crafting captivating stories. I have worked on published indie games as a Narrative Designer and Game Artist - often as a liaison between the two departments.
My focus lies in crafting immersive experiences, with a keen interest in environmental narrative, player journeys and world lore.
I have worked as a Narrative Designer for AB InBev, where I designed and developed 2D and 3D games in Unity. I defined the pipeline for gamification and game-based learning courses, creating gamified post-training sessions to boost learning retention and classroom activities to enhance audience engagement. I led a team of six to build a narrative-driven gamified learning experience and consulted as the Narrative SPOC for the design team on six projects.
Additionally, I revamped learning modules with storytelling and game interaction elements, created proof of concepts for project approvals, and facilitated a session on psychological safety for senior managers.
I am currently pursuing an MA in Digital Games Theory & Design at Brunel University, London, and expect to complete it in September 2024. Through this interdisciplinary program, I have developed a robust understanding of game design principles. I have explored various aspects of game design, including narrative, mechanics, and aesthetics, by creating and iterating on game prototypes.
This hands-on experience has allowed me to implement and refine strategies to create engaging and immersive player experiences.
