I am a highly motivated 17-year-old, having seen my parents striving to learn and grow. I have a strong interest in Netball and team sports; and played in my school team. Through the regular training and match experience, I have developed excellent teamwork, communication, and soft leadership & influencing skills.

I am eager to take on new challenges, learning from others and contributing positively in a commercial environment like Retail. I bring energy, commitment, and a positive attitude to everything I do.

Assistant/Trainee Bookkeeper - Pure Tax Investigations Ltd

I started posting expenses, using hard copy and digital invoices/purchase invoices, to Xero. I learned what was allowable for tax purposes and what was not; and how this flowed through to draft VAT returns. I then started to raise sales invoices for clients, sometimes new ones as well as regulars; not everyone was VATable.

I learnt how to reconcile direct/online feeds from the business bank accounts to the posted invoices on Xero; learning the importance. This type of work helps me focus on and appreciate the importance of financial data.
