• Test Planning: Develop test plans, strategies, and approaches for various projects, utilising both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Test Execution: Supervise testing teams to execute testing plans and cases and validate product code alignment with specifications. Conduct comprehensive analysis of test results to ensure appropriate test coverage and document testing phases and defects in detail.
• Test Reporting: Generate daily/weekly metrics/SLA reports using testing management tools such as HP ALM and JIRA to evaluate the effectiveness and progression of testing efforts. Communicate testing progress, test results, and defects to program stakeholders through regular updates, including the submission of an End of Test Report.
• Risk Management: Manage end-to-end test activities, including planning, risk management, issue resolution, dependency management, and governance. Maintain RAID logs to identify and manage testing-related risks, remove impediments, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Resource Management: Manage testing resources and ensure software quality by collaborating with cross-functional teams onsite and offshore. Conduct QA interviews and performance evaluations, facilitate team growth through technical training.
• Stakeholder Management: Demonstrate leadership by effectively coaching and guiding a team of QA leads, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring a high level of quality throughout the software development process. Additionally, develop and maintain strong relationships with program stakeholders, providing regular updates on testing progress and outcomes.
• Process Improvement: Refine testing procedures, methodologies, and technologies to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of testing.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure testing meets quality standards set for the program and ensure that the program gets delivered with high quality.
• Metrics and Analysis: Establish metrics and analyse test results to identify trends and areas for improvement. Report testing progress to program stakeholders.
