Hardworking, reliable and animal-focused individual with extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs, horses and alpacas, including five years of professional stable-yard experience at Runningwell Equestrian Centre. I have worked with horses from a young age and continue to assist with horse care and competitions. I also have practical experience caring for family dogs, raising and training dogs from puppies, and supporting the day-to-day care of alpacas, including hands-on involvement during births.

Working with dogs has been a long-term career ambition, and I am now looking to bring my animal-handling experience, strong work ethic and professional customer-service skills into a dog daycare environment.

Saturday role

• Led beginner riders safely throughout lessons and confidently handled horses and ponies of different sizes and temperaments.
• Tacked up and prepared horses/ponies, mucked out stables, prepared and distributed feed, cleaned the yard and completed general stable duties.
• Maintained high standards of animal welfare, cleanliness and safety while working as part of a busy yard team.
• Developed strong observation skills, confidence around large animals and the ability to remain calm and responsible in an active environment.

• Dogs & puppies: Regularly care for family members' dogs while they are away, including walking, feeding, supervision, exercise and maintaining their usual routines.
• Dog training: Hands-on experience raising and training dogs from puppies, including toilet training, lead walking, recall, basic commands, routines and socialisation.
• Horses: Involved with horses from approximately age five to sixteen and continue to help my aunt with her horse, including care and support at competitions.
• Alpacas: Hands-on involvement with alpacas at home, including daily care, handling, walking and assisting during births and with aftercare.
• Comfortable with physical, outdoor and practical animal-care duties, including cleaning and maintaining safe, hygienic environments.
