Proxy parent when mum had her second child during lockdown (moved in with the family). Taking care of the newborn/establishing routines/All nursery duties/Introductions of sensorial play.
• Girl/21months -New York- Proxy Parenting: Proxy parenting for little girl while mum was in hospital giving birth to her little brother and dad stayed in hospital. I helped mum with the baby when she got home and stayed with the family until 9th October before I flew back to London.
• Middle Eastern boy/28 months: Nursery duties from getting up until bedtime. Feeding, bathing, educational visits in London, outdoor play, reading time. Strong emphasis on developing independence throughout.
