I’m an experienced and commercially minded Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) with over 25 years’ post-qualification experience, currently Managing Director at Forbes Watson Ltd, a successful accountancy practice I’ve built and led for many years.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with a diverse portfolio of clients — from start-ups finding their feet to established businesses achieving multi-million-pound growth. I’ve helped owners understand their numbers, strengthen financial controls, improve cash flow, and develop sustainable, profitable strategies.

My experience spans a wide range of sectors, including hospitality, creative industries, care, construction, professional services, and technology, giving me a broad commercial understanding and the ability to add real value across different business models.

Now, having turned 50 and with three decades of hands-on experience behind me, I’m looking to apply that expertise in a part-time or fractional Finance Director capacity. I bring the insight of someone who has advised hundreds of business owners, combined with the energy and enthusiasm to help management teams make confident, data-driven decisions and achieve their growth ambitions.
