I’m Simon, 24, from Droitwich. I’m the kind of person who stays calm when things get busy and treats every customer like they matter.
I’ve learned a lot about responsibility and handling pressure over the last few years. I don’t crack under stress — I focus. I’m trustworthy with money, sharp with details, and I take pride in doing things properly the first time.
People tell me I’m easy to talk to and good at reading a room. Whether someone’s had a win or a loss, I know how to keep things respectful and keep the shop running smoothly. I’m not here for drama. I’m here to do the job right, keep customers safe, and be someone the team can count on.
I’m looking for steady work with a solid company where I can grow. William Hill’s reputation matters to me — I want to be part of a team that sets the standard on the high street.
Available for full time shifts, weekends, and ready to start immediately.
I’ve gained a wide range of experience across customer-facing and hands-on roles, which has made me adaptable, reliable, and good under pressure.
Guest House — Responsible for customer check-ins, handling cash/card payments, dealing with bookings and complaints, and making sure every guest felt looked after. Learned how to stay professional and calm, even when problems came up last minute.
Dessert Shop — Fast-paced, busy environment. Served customers, worked tills, handled food hygiene standards, and kept service friendly even during rushes. Got used to multitasking, balancing tills, and keeping standards high when it was heaving.
Brokerage — Office-based role dealing with clients over the phone. Taught me the importance of accuracy, compliance, and clear communication. I handled sensitive information, followed strict procedures, and learned how to stay sharp with numbers and details.
Factory Work — Hands-on shifts, often long hours. Built my work ethic, punctuality, and ability to follow health & safety rules. Taught me how to be part of a team where everyone relies on you to do your job right.
Across all these roles I’ve worked with the public face-to-face and over the phone, handled money, followed procedures, and learned how to adapt quickly. I’m comfortable with responsibility and I take pride in doing things properly.
GCSEs — English, Mathematics, Science — Grade C/4 and above

Finished the full programme, gaining hands-on experience and a recognised qualification alongside working.
