I have worked within the Emergency Services for 30 years, attending some of the most devastating incidents across the world. I am currently responsible for a team of 65 high-performing firefighters within Rushmoor Fire Station, ensuring their wellbeing, competence and key performance indicators are maintained. I have been responsible for building teams within the service to undertake complex tasks such as rope rescue, COVID response, and international disaster response, writing and executing the safety and security plan for a team of 80 personnel in high-risk environments.
I have extensive experience in problem-solving, risk management, and incident resolution, and I thrive when exposed to high-pressure, complex, multi-agency incidents. As a workplace manager, I am responsible for risk management, business continuity, and ensuring my £3.5m budget is used efficiently and responsibly.
