Lead strategic oversight of a 5,500+ vehicle fleet supporting London’s emergency response and public safety.
Directed a £multi-million operational budget, delivering a 5-year Fleet Transformation Strategy that improved vehicle availability, reduced downtime, and saved £2.5M.
Let the Fleet Operational Support Services transformation programme centralising and restructuring fleet administration, improving performance, increasing morale, increasing resilience across all 3 locations and reducing headcount by 22%.
Led the successful TUPE transfer of 100 staff, (Following supplier administration) launching a recruitment and training programme that enhanced resilience and multiskilling.
Delivered a £700K saving through a centralised vehicle hire initiative and improved utilisation via Power BI analytics.
Reduced PCN/NIP ticket volumes and saved £1.2m through a strategic taskforce and centralised processing.
Initiated and led the UK-wide Police Fleet Vehicle Standardisation Programme, coordinating 43 forces and key stakeholders including the Home Office resulting in multimillion pound savings, rationalising vehicle duty codes, centralising vehicle specification form to one in order to procure vehicles more efficiently.
Developed and implemented a comprehensive risk register and governance framework for Fleet Operational Support Services.
Directed the transformation of contact centre operations, achieving a 90%+ call answer rate and reducing abandonment rates post-supplier administration.
