Acting as sole Legal Counsel for Eficode UK Limited and Eficode USA Inc. whilst supporting colleagues in Europe as required, reporting direct to both Group General Counsel and local COO. Eficode is a SaaS consultancy and support company with third party software licence resale.
- Responsible for all commercial contracts (customer, supplier/subcontractor or partner) not on standard Eficode templates, including reviewing proposed amendments to standard Eficode terms, reviewing third party terms or Government/private RFPs, drafting bespoke agreements, advising non-legal colleagues of potential risks, negotiation with third parties, ensuring application of third party EULAs
- Acting as Point of Contact for all Data Protection issues within both UK and USA, collaborating with Group DPO where unable to resolve the issue individually
- Responsible for localising Eficode agreement templates where region-specific adjustments required for UK & USA
- Maintain Group's contract archive system with AI based summaries
- Providing business with advice in employment and other contentious matters where needed
- Conducting new-starter inductions and advising non-legal colleagues regarding legal processes as well as correct use of the Legal Service Desk and contract archive
- Organise placement of subcontractors or independent freelance contractors
- Instruct and engage with external advisors/counsel as required
