About

I am a dedicated and productive individual with over 7 years experience in childcare and early years. Children are pleasure to teach and work with, it’s a very rewarding job, to instil learning and ignite imagination. Children bring me so much joy, I love the variety of each day and I feel accomplished knowing I have helped those children grow.

My extensive knowledge and skills aids me in every day experiences working with children. I am always organised and equipped for any situation. Also I am very productive and use the time I have to accomplish what needs to get done.

Experience

I have worked in Archibald Primary School as a SEN, TA for a total of 4 years. I worked 1-1 with many children, with autism. In this job role I prepared activities, building on existing knowledge and encouraging play, also helping with the general day to day routine etc.

I worked both in Preschool and Nursery. In addition, I worked with outside professionals to meet the child’s needs and writing up SEN support plans. While working at Archibald I did observations and planned for next steps using 2build, and seesaw, these have been really helpful and great apps to use.

Working with these children was a rewarding and great experience by the end of our time together he had progressed in giving eye contact, talking a lot more, showing affection by giving me hugs and kisses, recognising family members and pointing to them saying mum and dad. During my time there I also did lots of voluntary work, especially during covid, working with vulnerable children. Furthermore, I have also covered maternity for a year, helping to do curriculum maps and planning weekly activities relating to the various topics and helping children reach their developmental milestones.
