About
AAT-qualified Accounts and Bookkeeping professional with over 30 years' experience working with small businesses and managing day-to-day accounts independently. I have extensive hands-on experience covering bookkeeping, purchase and sales ledger, bank and supplier reconciliations, VAT, CIS, payroll, invoicing, credit control, payment processing and financial administration. I currently manage the accounts function for a construction business and have previously owned and managed businesses with responsibility for staff, suppliers, customers, banking, payroll and financial records.
I am comfortable working independently, checking my own work and dealing directly with business owners, Directors, accountants, suppliers and customers. I prefer a straightforward, practical approach to bookkeeping and take pride in keeping financial records accurate and up to date. My main accounting software experience is with Sage Accounts.
Although I have not used Xero professionally, I have extensive experience with the underlying bookkeeping processes and am confident learning new accounting software quickly.
