Cabin Crew Manager - Virgin Atlantic Airways - Manchester Airport

My success in this role has been based on my efforts and ability to step back and manage a large operation by overseeing all departments and ensuring teams work closely to achieve the same result. It is a high pressure role where good clear communication skills are key. As a Crew Coordinator I work in a fast passed environment.

Managing large teams of Cabin Crew on a daily basis many of them remotely whom are at a outstation. I am a direct report for CSS's welfare I assist with FSM welfare when needed. I conduct back to work chats.

Occupation health referrals and general day to day management of the role. I write prefight briefings and help with checks on-board when required to help develop and coach CSS's. I oversee compliance and training.

I manage and maintain relationships with many departments whom depend on my support. I support and implement safety and security training. Manage welfare and observe a duty of Care for my teams and customers.

Alongside project management of our operational needs.

As Cabin Crew I represent the world's most iconic airline. I am primarily responsible for on-board safety and security of the aircraft and all its occupants with customer service being at heart of my role. I always ensure to provide an individual customer experience and deliver the high standards set by myself as well as Virgin Atlantic. I work as part of a team to build relationships in order to carry out the roles and duties as well as being flexible to adapt to this fast paced role.
