Skye Harris

I’m a bubbly strong minded individual who has found the love for working in schools and with children over the last two years, I started by teaching dance and moved on to working as a teaching assistant ,behaviour mentor and cover supervisor. I find behaviour is my strong point as I have my own personal strategies to help with challenging situations which so far haven’t let me down! I am very creative and love floristry and music also. I love watching children strive with in what they love and helping them achieve their future goals.

I have worked in three Schools. Two of them being mainstream secondary schools and one of them being a mixed aged SEN school. In every school I have worked with SENC and that’s what I enjoy In my first school I was a teaching assistant working with ages 11-16

In my second school I was a cover supervisor and behaviour mentor working in the isolation rooms ages 11-16

In my most previous school I was a full SEN teaching assistant with ages 9-18

For education I have my GCSEs and attended college for floristry I am looking to complete some courses on behavioural management , and understanding of autism , ADHD and mental health this year
