Originally from a dual academic and athletic background, I’ve been fortunate to combine my interests in movement, health, and teaching throughout my career. My journey has taken me from studying Kinesiology in Virginia to earning a Doctorate in Physiotherapy in Glasgow.
Beyond my clinical experience in musculoskeletal rehab, chronic pain, and sports injuries, I’m deeply invested in mentoring and inspiring students. I find joy in creating engaging learning experiences, supporting research, and building connections that advance our profession.
I am a dedicated and passionate physiotherapist with a PhD in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University, an MSc in Sports and Exercise Science and Medicine, and a BSc in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. With extensive experience in clinical practice, teaching, and research, I excel in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and sports physiotherapy.
I am an Assistant Lecturer and Researcher with a proven ability to develop engaging curricula, mentor students, and lead impactful research projects. My certifications in Strength and Conditioning, Sports Massage, and neuromuscular re-education complement my expertise.
