I am a helpful, enthusiastic and dedicated individual that has gained confidence, a range of organisation skills and the ability to communicate with others whilst having patience whilst people go through difficult situations. I am also fluent in Somali. I can emphasise, understand and be patient with others, whilst also remaining professional.
Over the years, I have gained these skills and I believe these skills will persist and enhance in a job opportunity. I know i have what it takes to work with colleagues to collectively achieve the goals of a profitable business and most importantly assist customers to have the best customer care experience possible
I have had numerous experiences of being a ʻleaderʼ with crucial roles. These include being a translator for my mother and helping my hard of hearing sister with appointments and phone calls. This gives me an advantage as these roles were filled with responsibilities, which helped me gain independence and sympathy towards those who need extra support.
In addition, I also play a variety of sports which include basketball and netball which help with my discipline and ability to manage my time. This has had a positive impact on myself as well as my wellbeing and activity levels. In many cases I have been chosen to lead my team and have succeeded massively.
Throughout secondary school, I have frequently taken part in the Kingʼs College Scholars program, which allowed me to intensify my understanding of what it is like to communicate with individuals at university level. We also had a variety of workshops which required us to work in a team which helped strengthen my teamwork skills. For example we had to come together to come up with a bunch of ideas and come together to make it into a project.
I’ve completed my GCSEs and my Btec level 3 in forensic science. Now going onto doing a year in health science. then next year hopefully doing radiotherapy and oncology
