I taught French to bilingual children in Reception class. I prepared and delivered the lessons for Saturday classes. Applying the Montessori approach, I would use miniature objects, sandpaper letters and other materials, teaching through concrete activities before moving on to more abstract ones (reading and writing).

Started to work in Preschool alongside two other Montessori AMI teachers to prepare an authentic Montessori environment and ensure the Montessori approach is maintained. Experience with S.E.N children, monitoring IEP progression. I also worked with older children during holidays (holiday club).

I started working at Ladybird Sutton Coldfield in January 2019, a newly opened nursery.

• Participating in setting up a Montessori classroom, I was committed to purchasing the practical life materials, in preparing printable materials and in organizing an adapted environment to welcome children.
• Working as an assistant alongside a Montessori AMI directress, my role was to help children settle within the new environment, I would do presentations of the Montessori materials in small groups or in 1:1, so the children would understand how to use it independently at their own pace. I would also respond to their needs by ensuring that order is maintained in the classroom, ensuring that the material is used correctly, and it is put back in the right place.
• After a few months, I was considered as a directress, I would bring my input in lessons plans and in preparing resources according to the theme of the week using the 7 areas of learning as a guideline.
• Observations and individual presentations, understand how to record and track children's progression.
• Trained in using Montessori Tapestry linking the Montessori activities to the national curriculum.
• Good feedback from direction, colleagues, and parents.
