I am looking to take my skills in listening, my helpful manner and my willingness to learn new things into a new role. I have a keen interest in the childcare industry and would like the opportunity to develop in a role in a nursery.

I looked after the children from ages 3 months - 4 years.

I played activities with them, like Football and the game It.
I read a book to some of them.
I also helped them get their shoes on.
Then lastly, I made sure they ate their lunch and washed up.

Volunteer - Reception Class Assistant - St Michael's East Wickham Primary School

Helping out in the reception class at St Michael's East Wickham primary school (Volunteering).

I've helped the children with reading in reception.
Doing phonics like sounding out and blending the letters.
Doing Maths, like counting up to 10.
When they are choosing their learning (playing) I monitor them to make sure they are safe while playing.
Sometimes I look after the SEN child in reception, by monitoring the child to make sure their safe.
