I have been employed by the London Ambulance Service since qualifying from the University of Greenwich in 2016 with a BSC 1st Class Honours Degree in Paramedic Science. I am registered with the HCPC and have ample amounts of clinical experience. I hold a current UK manual driving license with both B/C1 category and I am blue light trained.

I am also trained as a solo responder on the fast response vehicle (FRV) where I currently operate on a full-time basis. I am PPED 1 trained which allows me to mentor students and staff. Covid-19 pandemic has delayed progression to PED 2 and 3 but I will be completing these as soon as possible.

Additionally, I hold a secondment as a band 7 deputy guardian alongside Freedom to Speak Up.

• To respond to 999 emergency and non-emergency calls and provide assessment, treatment, conveyance and referral (where necessary) using alternative care pathways consistent with the trusts policy and national guidance for safe and effective practice.
• Driving service vehicles in both emergency and non-emergency conditions in conjunction with the highway code. I am responsible for ensuring vehicle checks are carried out prior to use to certify that they are roadworthy, safe and fully functional.
• Assessing, treating and appropriately referring patients to correct care pathways in line with National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) and Joint Royal College Ambulance Liaison Committee (JRCALC) guidelines.
• To demonstrate leadership and be confident in clinical decision making which enables safe and appropriate management of patients and staff.
• To adhere to medicines management in order to safely administer and ensure the security of controlled drugs in line with The Medicines Act 1968.
• To liaise with health care professionals, emergency services and key stakeholders for the best patient outcome.
• To obey the HCPC Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics at all times.
• To maintain confidentiality in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and document an honest and accurate representation of clinical records, events and treatment.
