I have recently qualified in both Electrical and Instrumentation, with my apprenticeship being split across Prax and EP SHB. During this time, I have proved I am trustworthy and reliable. I completed the final year of my apprenticeship at EP SHB on their South Humber Bank site. I gained exposure to both LV and HV systems including Motors, switch gear, protection panels and SFC/AVR's. I am currently completing my Higher National Diploma (HND), with the first year being completed.
I also gained valuable experience within the electrical technician role, my responsibilities included identifying plant defects and raising work notifications in SAP, supporting the development of method statements and risk assessments, and contributing to daily planning and maintenance meetings to help coordinate site activities.
Control and Power Apprentice - Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery - Killingholme, DN40 3LW

I completed the first three years of my apprenticeship at Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery, specializing in control and power systems. During my first year, I trained at Humberside Engineering Training Association (HETA), where I completed a Level 3 BTEC qualification in Engineering. This provided me with strong foundation knowledge and practical skills in electrical and instrumentation.
For the following 2 years, I was full-time based at Prax. Here I developed a range of technical skills, gaining hands-on experience in both electrical and instrumentation fields. I also assisted in the commissioning of instrumentation systems for onsite shutdowns in both 2024 and 2025.
Within this time, I also completed a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Engineering.
Junior Coach - Fierce Elite Cheerleading - Grimsby, DN31 3JU

Throughout my last year of school, I did a part-time job at Fierce Elite Cheerleading in Grimsby. This included me coaching children aged 5 to 8. I was able to teach them the aspects of working together in a team and be an example of how to be a good cheerleader since I was one myself at the time. Throughout the year of myself working at Fierce Elite, I was able to get skills such as leadership, team building and how to work well within a team.
