Over 10 years of experience as SQL Server DBA in production support from version SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2019 and 11.3 years of overall experience.

Experience in MS SQL Server installation, upgradation, configuration, client/server connectivity, backup/recovery, Database Maintenance plans, decommission and Migration etc., Experience in Administering SQL Server security by creating User Logins with appropriate roles, monitoring the user accounts, creation of groups, granting the privileges to users and groups. Expertise in creating incidents, change requests for database offline, decommission, installing the latest patches, migration activities and SSL certificate renewals. Experienced in Upgrading SQL Server Software to new versions with required Service Packs and Patches and hot fixes.

Expertise in raising SRM request for storage expansion and Memory increase with relevant team. Expertise in Database refresh from production environment to non-prod environment like Test, Dev, etc., Fixing the Login issues such as orphan users, logins and user creation in newly installed instances and existing instances. Handled all SQL administration related issues which includes, Installing, Configuring and troubleshooting Always-On, Replication, Mirroring, Clustering and Log shipping issues.

Working for disk space alerts, Job failure alerts and server health checks and fixing them. Strong ability to work independently and leading a team at a time. Good knowledge of High Availability (HA), Always on and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server.

Expertise in handling Day-to-day activities like Reports monitoring, Handling Tickets, implementing the changes, creating new SOP’S and Installations. Knowledge in Creating Packages, Jobs and Sending Alerts using Configures SQL Mail Server/Database Mail. Good knowledge in SSIS, SSRS, Azure and AWS.
