I am a hardworking, enthusiastic, friendly individual currently looking for part or full-time work. I consider myself as an outgoing person and take pleasure in meeting new people. I would say that I am a very welcoming and would take on any necessary tasks with the aim to always complete everything to the best of my ability.
I would be more than willing to train on-the-job and study for any relevant work-based qualifications which will help me improve or obtain any appropriate occupational or personal skills. Additionally, I am quite capable and confident of working on my own initiative with minimal supervision, however I am also very adapting when it comes to functioning as part of a team and I can be a beneficial and valuable team member when participating in any group duties.

My current role is not formal employment or carried out in a traditional workplace, but it involves long-term caring responsibilities for a family member with disabilities and ongoing health conditions. I provide support with a range of day-to-day tasks, including assisting with medication, attending and helping manage medical appointments, completing shopping, and offering general practical and emotional support as needed. This role requires a high level of reliability, honesty, patience, and compassion, all of which I consistently demonstrate through the care and responsibility I take in supporting their wellbeing and daily needs.

At Greenhalgh's Craft Bakery, my role as a Sales Assistant was to prepare and sell both hot and cold foods. I was given daily, weekly and monthly sales targets and I always endeavoured to meet these. On occasions I also had to bake the hot foods in the kitchen, I had to ensure all hot food was cooked correctly and the product was that of a high standard.
I also had to keep on top of hygiene within all working areas, this included general and thorough cleaning to make sure all areas were kept to a very high standard of cleanliness. I also had the task of stocking products, and making sure they were kept topped up throughout the day. I had to comply with all health and safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe environment for other members of staff, visitors and most importantly the customers.
Catering Assistant - Bolton School - Chorley New Road, Bolton

My role as catering assistant was to take responsibility for preparation and serving of food both hot and cold foods. I had to ensure a high standard of hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas was adhered to at all times, including mopping / vacuuming of all kitchen, dining room and storeroom areas. I also had to clean all large equipment including large trolleys, tables, cooking and cleaning machinery.
I also had to undertake dishwashing duties on a daily basis (by both hand and machine). I had to comply with and promote health and safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe environment for pupils, staff and visitors ensuring that reasonable care was taken at all times for the health, safety and welfare of myself and other persons.

I supported Mr Gamsby, an elderly man with a visual impairment on a regular weekly basis. My role included every day chores such as cleaning, washing, gardening and any other necessary household tasks required. I also took Mr Gamsby shopping once a week as he found it very hard to get out of the house by himself as he was very unstable on his feet, this also allowed him to get out of the house and socialise, something he would not have done if I didn't give him the opportunity.
He was often quite isolated and I helped with any problems he may have, even if it was a friendly chat on the phone, I was his lifeline when he needed someone the most.

My role was to help out in the day-to-day operation of the establishment alongside other colleagues. This included cleaning the bar, entertainment area, toilet facilities and the outdoor areas. Other tasks included serving customers drinks at the bar, helping customers, cash handling, preparing and serving food.
I also assisted in the organising of events such as remembrance days, funerals, special occasions, additionally this included organising and producing large buffets, often to strict deadlines with minimal time.

I worked at a large Tesco superstore and my main role was a checkout assistant. I worked independently on most occasions but was also functioning as part of an overall team group to hit weekly and monthly targets.

As a housekeeper at a national hotelier, I had a range of duties, these included the cleaning of rooms daily which involved the making of beds, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, polishing and general tidying up. I worked on my own but was part of a core team, and we all had to pull together to ensure the hotel was kept clean and tidy at all times. I worked to strict deadlines, and had very minimal time to clean a room from one guest leaving to another guest arriving.
All duties were carried out to a very high standard.
