I am currently a full-time student at Kingston University London going into my second year of studying BSc International Business. I chose to study my course because of my curiosity in learning about the culture and history of different countries, and the link about how it can tie into the decisions they make regarding international connections. I especially learned more about this through one of my modules where I understood more about cross-cultural advertising, and in my own time, I enjoy conducting research and forming opinions about countries' history in relation to the creation of their cultures to this day.
Throughout my first year, I took part in a 5-month unpaid internship working for a chief editor at Wiley Online Library where I learned more about international social networking, and the passion for philanthropy and marketing through the people I worked with. In addition, I wanted to learn more about my interest and add more to my degree through various opportunities that my university provides; such as learning Mandarin through the Kingston Language Scheme, and choosing to add a year to my degree to study abroad in order to gain an early understanding of the culture of some countries I am most interested in, with the hope to work/travel abroad in the future.
I personally believe that I am a bit of an artistic person because one of my hobbies is writing poetry based on my thoughts and feelings, expressing them through similies and metaphors. I believe that meditating and creating are the key to understanding and accepting oneself, in order to become a better version of oneself.
