About

I am an experienced teacher and animal care professional with a strong background in animal management, farming, land-based studies, health and social care, and learner support. I enjoy combining practical, hands-on learning with clear and supportive teaching. Throughout my career, I have worked with learners of different ages and abilities, including those with additional learning needs, mobility needs, and behaviours that can challenge.

I take a calm, approachable, and down-to-earth approach, helping learners feel safe, included, and confident in their abilities. Alongside my teaching experience, I have practical knowledge of livestock management, animal welfare, medication, biosecurity, and the everyday running of a community farm. I am passionate about giving learners meaningful experiences that prepare them for further study, employment, and greater independence.
