I am the team leader of the Biological Process and Analytical Development (BiPAD) facility at the Jenner Institute of Oxford University, where I have been working for over two years. I have a Ph.D. in biotechnology and more than 15 years of experience in developing and implementing industrial bioprocesses for various biotechnological products, such as recombinant proteins including enzymes, plasmids and other vectors, and polysaccharides.
My mission is to support research teams in taking novel drugs from the laboratory to the clinic, by providing expertise across academic and industrial research, ensuring compliance with GMP regulations, and optimizing cultivation and purification processes. I have successfully automated and scaled up existing and new bioprocesses, successfully led strain engineering and media optimization, and guided industrial placement students. I have also contributed to multiple patents, publications, and certifications in the field of biotechnology.
I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to advance innovative solutions for human health and well-being.
